Top Five Scooby Doo Party Plans

Is your child wanting a Scooby Doo Party for their next birthday? If the answer is yes, don't immediately reply no to their request. You could act like you don't know who Scooby Doo is. Besides the fact that these actions can be too disappointing to see by your child, staging one is actually not a difficult thing at all.

Below are five ideas you can use to host a great Scooby Doo party:

1. Buy Lots of Party Supplies

One of the easiest ways to get all the guests into the mood that your child wants is to buy Scooby Doo party supplies. Thanks to the World Wide Web, you can already purchase them online and just have them delivered into your home whenever they are already needed.

You can purchase birthday favors (think of Scooby Doo cupcakes), food utensils, balloons, streamers, and a whole lot more. If is even possible to have a birthday cake made with a picture of Scooby on it.

2. Play Dress Up

Scooby Doo has his own gang, including his owner Shaggy. To add more fun, you can encourage all the guests to dress up according to their favorite character. Or you could pre-assign characters in order to ensure that everyone does not turn up as Scooby Doo.

Then you can prepare a special presentation where you will call all the "casts" and have them act out their favorite Scooby Doo memory.

3. Opt For Marathons

Is your venue not very big or is money an issue? A good way to still keep up with the theme is to obtain a DVD and schedule a movie marathon with the kids.

With the huge choice of cartoon episodes and movies available you should not find it too difficult to pick some great DVD's. Do not worry, as long as the child gets what he or she wants--which is to see the talking dog--you do not have to be selective.

4. Have Scooby Doo Visit

Contact your nearest mascot supplier and request Scooby Doo to visit your house on your kid's birthday. They could even bring more surprises for all the party guests or perform a special song.

5. Make a Photo Wall

A photo wall can be a great way of making sure your child remembers their Scooby Doo party. You could let your guests get their picture taken with Scooby by getting a cardboard cut-out of their hero.

Nice article, but I think you need to add one more thing. Games and activities. Kids get bored very easy so plenty of games and activities otherwise your party will go down hill fast.

Brandon thanks for the comment. I agree with you about games being a good idea. But DVD's and a drop-by are great activities which kids love.
