There are a variety of games you can play at your party. The pirate theme is general enough that you could even adapt quite a few traditional party games and still have them fit the party well. What about charades where everybody needs to act like a pirate while they are giving clues? You could have a race where people either need to wear a fake peg leg or you could just tie two people's legs together and have a traditional three-legged race. These games are not necessarily pirate themed in origin, but as you can see, they adapt very well to the idea.

Quick and Simple Party Food

As for the food that you serve, you have some options here as well. For a birthday party, a pirate themed cake would be the easiest thing to do. You could have a traditional cake shaped like a boat, or you could even take it a notch further and make a boat out of bananas and chocolate strips sitting on a Jello sea. There is a popular snack item called Pirate's Booty that is a healthy alternative to chips. As with the games, you have a near endless supply of foods that can be adapted to fit this theme.

Having a Pirates of the Caribbean party could get expensive if you custom order all of the different party supplies and food.
